The Kulani Maui is a beautiful property hidden away on the outskirts of downtown Lahaina. Kulani means “resembling heaven” or “little heaven” in Hawaiian.
We spent a few days at this tropical paradise last summer for our 20th Anniversary. It was by far one of the best Anniversaries that my husband and I have had. We both agreed that we loved staying in at the Kulani as much as heading out to explore the island.
This peaceful property is close to downtown, and yet felt completely removed and hidden away.
Things we loved about our stay!
- Privacy. We stayed in the Jasmine Bungalow. One of 6 bungalows tucked into the property.
- Our own personal outdoor shower. We used it more than the indoor one!
- Quality craftsmanship.
- Proximity to town – I enjoyed my early morning runs through the empty streets of Lahaina.
- Local tips – we were given a list of wonderful restaurants and beaches.
- So many mangoes falling outside our window. Yummy!
- The property is a tropical dream. With taro plants taller than my outstretched arms!
We loved our stay at The Kulani. It could only be described as Heavenly!
